Lets face it, he’s holding a sewing machine to try and attract ANY KIND of female, cos with a face like that, who in their right mind would allow their daughter to go to the Prom with him! He has apparently stuck a slug over each eye. [I would have written caterpillar, but I can't spell it.]

Pretty clear it is not shopped. Look at the his shadow on the ground, and how the light falls on his face, takes a lot of time if you had to get that right in photoshop.
What I think was going on, was that it was before some sort of galla event, someone in his dorm had torn their fancy clothes, he went to some girl’s place, got tiny little travel sewing machine to fix it, came by this crashed UPS truck, and said to his friend he needed a picture of that.

It’s from a wedding. The UPS guy brought the wedding gift (sewing machine) and then crashed.

The explanation is very simple.
Guy asks girl to the prom.
Girl agrees. Buys prom dress.
Discovers prom dress is too long. Needs to sew the hem.
Calls guy, asks if he can come get her early, and bring his mom’s portable sewing machine, so she can sew up the hem.
They both live just a few blocks from the high school, so he doesn’t drive, he walks.
UPS guy sees guy in tuxedo carrying little sewing machine and drives off the road into the river.
There. Mystery solved!

I think it’s pretty obvious how this picture came about:
Prom Guy is off to the prom. Instead of the traditional corsage, he decides to bring his date a sewing machine to replace her broken one. Unfortunately, his only car won’t start, so he asks the friendly UPS driver for a lift. They drive along this road/sidewalk thing when they realize they miss their turn. They decide to back up, only to back into the river. Fin
ooh!!ooh!! i know !!! u see that devilish smile? he poked a hole in the tire with the needle, driver lost control, and it ran into the river.as noone suspects a guy in a prom suit, he just walks away from the crime scene.
or, drivers drunk, and the dude is blissfully unaware of the catasrophe.
