He needs to put his heels down and pull his leg back so that his ankle is in line with head/shoulder/hip if he wants to be in the blues. Otherwise he needs to learn to deal with second place and the art of being the first loser.
His stirrups are too long….and he needs to move his foot back a bit so that the stirrup rests on the ball of the foot, not on the arch.

Surprisingly, they took a lot of photographs like these in the early years of photography, once it became quick enough that you didn’t need to be all but stapled to a chair for hours that is.
They’re very useful for anatomy. At least, that’s what the photographers would swear up and down! XD
