@MJ You re absolutely correct, this is one of the 419 eater’s trophies, from the ‘Church of fish, bread and wine’ skit I believe. As it happens, there are several of the 419 eather’s trophy pictures that appear on pictureisunrelated without attribution, whether this is because THIS site is unaware of 419eater.com or not, I don’t know.

I actually know what this is. There is a website called 419eater.com or somthing like that. All the guys on it make it their mission to get the guys who send spam mail to do stupid things for them in the belief they are going to get money. You know the “we have 5 million in an African account” type emails

Oh yeah I got one of those things before. They were some admiration emails from some “orphaned daughter of a wealthy African company founder” and told me to go to some bank with an account number and call some number to have like 20 billion dollars transfered to my account because someone was trying to find her fathers money. Talk about WTFs.
This is signature Timber Meshivers the scambaiter on 419eater.com. His ruse is that is a minister in the Church of the Fish and Bread. All of his early pics of scammers had a loaf of bread and a dead fish in the pic. His claim is that he needs to ensure he isn’t being scammed.

As an aside: it’s not about skin color. They simply fish for scam mails and respond. It is simply fact that a lot of it happens to originate in African countries, but there’s a lot in Russia and other countries as well.
