isnt that the whole point of this website?
The question isn’t so much how it got up there, but why would you do it in the first place???
Just guessing, maybe to demonstrate the strength of the arm on the excavator, or the skill/balls of the operator? It would be an expensive stunt to set up; so I would guess it was a publicity stunt done by the maker of the machine.

It’s a magnet on the end of the arm, which allows it to stay on to the tower, along with the angles in the tower where the tracks can fit in. The construction company that manufactures the machines pulled this as a stunt to show off the strength of the machine.
it´s no magnet , just a normal conection system for tools.
