It may seem cruel, but on the other hand, it’s the kids that have a really sheltered childhood that are more likely to be seriously and deeply scarred for life because they never learned how to deal with much of anything.
Plus, if this kid was scarred by this, at least there’s no chance of them developing necrophilia at a later age.
Will people stop it with the ‘he’ll be scarred for life’ thing. Alot of babies react the same way when being held by Santa or even their perfectly normal aunt.

I agree. I have a pic of my daughter screaming in grandma’s arms at 6months old.
Now she’s 5 and loves grandma and follows her everwhere!
The temporal lobes of the brain in a child that small have not fully developed yet. Not only will this not “scar him for life”, he is physiologically incapable of forming a long-term memory of it.
Now, if he were, say, three years old or so, it would be a different story. But that tyke is too small for this to have a lasting impact.
That said, how many kids have you seen screaming their lungs out on Santa’s lap? Just ’cause a kid is crying doesn’t mean they’ve been traumatized.
I don’t know. My kid is one of those that we have a pic of her screaming her head off when she went to see Santa and now she is freaked out if she thinks Santa is coming inside her house to bring her presents. We have to leave the presents on the porch so she doesn’t think he came inside. Sounds pretty traumatized to me…and that was when she was only a year and a half old (the last time we will EVER try to take her to sit on Santa’s knee!) @Ragtatter
Don’t look at me! I told her not to look into the nucular flash. Good news is, I finally got rid of the the termites in the garden-house. So its a WIN after all.
More than likely, the kid because he’s on the lap of a stranger, not because that stranger happens to have been dead for several years. It’s the kind of thing I laugh at, but would never even dream of doing to my own kids.
Where I don’t think the kid will have any lasting impression or memory of this at that age, I’m actually hoping for the “PHOTOSHOPPED!” person to pop in. (Cuz I AM afraid of corpses!)
Oh thank god, it’s just a fabricated corpse. Creepy… I was freaked out enough by the cheap foam one my fiance bought at the party store for Halloween one year. Eek…
this picture is super hilarious.and to the people who say this kid will have an extreme fear:do you remember anything from that age?!? didn’t think so.
For everyone who thinks the kid “won’t remember”, well, it’s not that simple. People who were molested as infants often have issues with sexual attention later in life, but they don’t remember having been molested. It really does matter what you do to kids even before they have the capacity to form long-term memories.
i was afraid of santa until i was like 8 years old.
i was afraid of fire alarms too.
but i have a mental disorder that i wasn’t being treated for way back then…
anyway, wow. my great grandmother was buried in a dress that looks exactly like that. she kinda looks like my great grandma too… scary.
people think that remembering traumatic events is what causes trauma, and it’s not really about it
the period of life when we are gathering most information is our first year (everything is very new)
thus events tend to have significantly MORE relevance
as when we are adults we can deal consciously with things that happen to us
as a baby or a child we just endure it
♥ my friend is scared to death of old ppl.i sent it an hour before she came over and signed her up for something so she would have to check her e-mail.i said brb im gonna get some water look at it without meh.when she opened it i screamed and she shit in her pants.what dumb fuck..anyways this is not scary at all.you can tottaly tell this is a fake skeleton.. -_- ♥
looks like he’s having a great time
jesus
Gramma forgot to retire
Poor kid
This is so incredibly cruel yet, Eerily funny. The baby is officially scarred with a fear of old woman in blue dresses for life.
And Nancy Reagan is left to rear a new generation of republicans.
I wanna know who the sick F—er was who gave the skeleton a pearl necklace???
Look at grandma’s ghetto claws!!!
Thinner……
that poor poor baby! mean parents! That kid will be off for the rest of their life.
MUMMY!

hggp://www.distefano.com/gallery.htm
That is completely fucking cruel!! Who would do that to their baby?
Not funny at all. Just sick.
dumbasses, babies don’t understand what a skeleton/mummy is.
Joan Rivers?!

@… damn straight!
@Cat Skyfire
Before or after the facelifts?
even if the kid doesn’t know what a mummy is…it knows it’s scared.
my son (at that age) would have flipped out if i put him in that things lap….
still it’s funny…
traumatization WIN!
Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead!
@Cat Skyfire

What did the kid do to grandma!?!??!

I think the baby is more upset about the smell. “And I thought my diaper smelled bad!”
Respect for the elderly. Teach it while they’re young.
@Allison
Look out! we’re in danger of being sensible.
C’mon, give prejudice a fair go and let’s all have fun!!!!
She chose ….pooorly!
@Knight of the first crusade.
Well, she’s no Dr. Jones :p
@…
…Or maybe this is the kind of thing that leads to necrophilia as an adult.
I love you a little for that. Damn grandmas always choosing the fancy cups!
She has powdered milk . . .
Isn’t this Norman’s mom from Psycho?

@Pierre
babies can differentiate between scary and not scary by that age…
i was afraid of santa until i was like 8 years old.
i was afraid of fire alarms too.
but i have a mental disorder that i wasn’t being treated for way back then…
anyway, wow. my great grandmother was buried in a dress that looks exactly like that. she kinda looks like my great grandma too… scary.

that baby is destined to be a serial killer one day.
and his parents will probably be his first victims.
I seriously almost crapped myself when I saw this.
Love it! You rock.
Wow! This pic came from an old fav prop house of mine, Creepyfx.com. I don’t think they sell corpses anymore tho- just How-to guides. Bummer.

Omg.. She Looks Like My Teacher! Hahaa
Seriously Tho… Thats So Fake, They Wouldn’t Put A Baby With A Real Dead body!
Well, duh of course they wouldn’t, especially cuz playing with a dead body is illegal u_u, in any case this is a parental fail.
