They were both elected simply because the other choices were even worse. That is simply the way politics works here. Both seem/seemed to be determined to destroy the country they claim to love. Anyone with intelligence enough to actually fix the mess is smart enough to stay out of politics.

I know that this is part of a photo shop challenge, but I would be more surprised if I found out no kid ever did a project like this, than I would be to find out some home schooled kid or kids in the bible belt had done it. They get to compete in the science fairs too.
