No one single child was injured by jumper in this traditional day in last 50 years. If you want to finish with stupid and dangerous traditions, then ban weapons. Is more an ancient supersticion than a religious festival [both kinds are stupid anyway]and it’s not spread at all, it is only performed in ONE SMALL VILLAGE. Parents are really proud of “using” their babies to keep alive such and old tradition. From my point of view is stupid, but please stop banning everything in the name of safety. We are old enough to be responsible of our acts. Or how it is said in Spain “Que ya tenemos los huevos negros” [Our balls are already black]
