But explaining that it’s purim doesn’t explain the gun + cross dressing combination! Also the fact that they’re holding hands too makes it even more wtf.
@Alfred Dugosier, men cross dress and women go into the army in a lot of countries, America included, so I honestly don’t understand your point.
In Israel, service in the army is mandatory. Soldiers need to carry their guns EVERYWHERE, lest they get stolen. The higher-ups will sneak into barracks and steal guns left behind and then give hell to the person that left it behind. Thus, everyone enlisted carries their gun at all times.
Though the fact that a woman and a cross-dressed man are holding hands still perplexes me. Does that make it lesbian, heterosexual, or both?
Israeli soldiers have to carry their guns everywhere, it’s against the law to lose it, and this is a Jewish holiday called Purim, where people dress up-sort of like a Jewish Halloween.
Vered :

We do know one thing: they’re in Israel. Look at the signs on the bus.
Israels women go in army, so this is logical to see Israeli men wearing dress.
Probably taken during the Jewish holiday Purim, during which we dress up in costumes. But still hilarious!

Don’t ask, don’t tell.

What to wear to assure you will always find an empty seat on the bus.
And so, the ballerina loli’s went to cure the gunner’s masculine curse by defeating the evil wizard, Mardrich.
I would empathize so much more with Israel in wars if all the soldiers were dressed up like this.
Ehud Barak once cross-dressed as a part of the military operation at the hostage-taking in the Entebbe. It could be Ehud Barak’s successor.
yet another reason to not visit israel
@Kerrybel
