Watching Easy Rider during their regular “Jewellery Night” seemed like a good idea at first. However, once the tequila wore off and the pictures were developed, it was obvious that it had been a mistake.

is this necklacing? it was a punishment (might still be) where the criminal (or whatever) has a tire put around their neck, it is filled with gasoline, and set on fire. The person of course is burnt alive.

I do not believe this is a case of necklacing, but in the unlikely event that it is, it would make for a horrible picture.

As has been said already – this is Japanese photographer Orimoto – if you google image search him, you’ll see these same three ladies with tyres around their heads in different locations. The one in the middle is apparently his ailing mother and she appears alone in some pics, without the tyre.
