this guy reminds me of The Green Man. A god that there are many legends about back in the old country.
This guy is awesome, he stays really still until some drunk jerk wanders by and then he moves and scares the pants off of him. Best spot to people watch at the whole Faire. (from the background I can tell you this is Bay Area Renn fest in Tampa)

This looks like the Bristol Renaissance Faire, in Wisconsin. They have ‘fantastikals’ (sp?), people who dress up in various Brian Froud faerie style, and sort of do their own thing. Very popular with the kiddies.

That was at the renaissance festival 09 in Tampa Florida I remember walking past that guy.
definitely the BARF in tampa, fl. he’s hilarious. perverted when the ladies are around, but child friendly when there are kiddies.
there is also a man that is dressed as a bush that stands in a pot near the entrance/exit and talks to you. not sure if its the same guy, but the concepts are fun and they are definitely fun to see at the faire.
