@Slafgar
Unlikely, the chairs are clean and unfaded. They hadn’t been there long when the picture was taken, certainly not long enough for the trees to grow (decades.) Look in the background, you can see one chair with the back removed. Someone did this deliberately by removing the backs from the chairs, placing them, then reattaching the backs.
Dont remove the seat backs (4 bolts) and reattach. Instead, remove the seats (4 bolts) cut seats in half; then reattach smaller seats (2 bolts). That allows for the width of the tree between the seat back and the seat.
The seat in the background with no back is a misdirection — or an artistic statement about a seat with nothing backing it.
@Chass
They also removed the seats and replaced them with smaller pieces of wood, so there would be space for the tree trunks. The seats are a rather unusual shape.
I hope the art student got an A on this assignment.
@Chass@slagfar…i fear the very idea of humourous, ironic, semi-ridiculous observations for the purpose of amusement have been completely wasted on u…which begs the question…what are u doin on this site?
I like to think, in some way, that there is a classroom of kids in the clouds, running away from a giant, with some gold, a harp and a goose that lays a golden egg.
someone had to bolt all those chairs together on the spot for this picture. too much work for me
Tom, can you come up to the board to answer this question?
maybe they put the chairs down before the trees were grown
“DUDE MOVE YOUR HEDGE I CANT SEE.”
Ent school
thats.. beautiful. in a wierd, wtf way.
Class, take your seats, please.
Pay attention Rupert, or your next stop will be the paper mill!
Think of the people who sat there, when suddenly several trees popped up. That must’ve been a litteral pain in the ass…

Can’t believe I didn’t think of that. I was like ‘WOAH they must’ve put the chairs there and planted seeds under them!’
