they could be wearing air trekkers or something of the sort google or youtube them they are pretty sweet and you can get some serious air, like fully open back-flip air
i still think its shopped (which isnt bad, as its done quite awsome).
i mean, even IF they are jumping and forced perspective is f**king me up, it just feels wrong, you know? like they are just to big to fit in the place they are right now.

its not shopped – they’re wearing power stilts and the one nearest the camera has his legs tucked up
you can tell he’s got stilts under there because of the shape of the legs – where they point really far out is where the footplate is and the bit on the back of his legs, which is curved and looks kinda like a long tail is the leaf spring with some furry brown covers on
scratch that its not the spring its too high

The kangeroo with thums up is founding member Paul jones, and the other Roo is possibly Max Meyer.
I know that Icarus perform in Dubai quite regularly, and so I suspect that is where this might have been shot. The two girls in headscarfs are pbviously in uniform, flight attendants perhaps?
The costumes are originals, designed and made by Icarus in their workshop in Sydney. I am not aware of them ever having been to Burning Man.

i know them as well! i shared a change room with them at the woodford folk festival in queensland 2007. it’s weird seeing it up here! XD
