  1. chinadoll says:

    that me at a KFC at high tide

  2. Liz says:

    wtf? she/he must be sitting in that, because the water only goes up to the doors, and there must be steps to them to allow them to sit like that

    • Aeonera says:

      no its a photoshop… the water could not posibly beflowing towards the takeaway place and on the left side theres a reflection of a small tree that isnt there

      • Aeonera says:

        even so its one of the better photoshops ive seen, pretty much all the reflections in the water are correct (the one i picked up may be an attempt at reflecting the phone box and the ripples behind her from her moving into the water) only common sense makes this impossible, she would have to be sitting

      • Phoebe says:

        actually on the left side of this picture its not a reflection of a *small tree* its the reflection of the window, dum dum! and btw it actually cud be flowing that way! you just dont have a gud imagination. i feel sorry for u!!!!!!!!!!

  3. gege says:

    Her dress is dry. This looks fake to me.

    • Whutsurnaym says:

      Well yeah, the part of the dress not in the water… unless you can magically see INTO the water. If you can, then you are not welcome here! Go back to Krypton, you humanoid freak!

  4. Goldie says:

    Maybe she’s sitting on the outside tables? I mean, it’s a beautiful day, may as well eat outside. O.o

  5. Jerod Poore says:

    There’s no proof she purchased food from Yoshinoya, or any other takeaway establishment. She could have been catching flotsam and/or critters with her chopsticks and eating that.

  6. Jan Val says:

    the door is over water so it happen often, swim in.

  7. gtfelix says:

    really bad photoshop lol

  8. dono1 says:

    Now THAT’S fresh sushi.

  9. enenmon says:

    where and how was this pic obtained?
    I’m pretty sure it’s photoshopped cos the lighting of the person’s face is brighter & clearer than the flooded background

  10. Chainslaw says:

    Her clothes don’t look wet.

  11. Logic-man says:

    Priorities ? Obviously, if you don’t eat, you don’t need a flood to kill you.

  12. Cecona says:

    Even if she was sitting the water wouldn’t be that high up. Just look at the bushes. Bushes are always planted on ground level around restaurants. Not to mention it has the red painted curb around them kind of gives it away. So, I’m pretty much saying this is ‘shopped.

  13. raznzrukus says:

    I bet shes a whore! anyone want 25 on this action?

  14. R Car says:

    Look at her hand.

  15. Sup says:

    That is definitely a photoshop job. I’ve seen the original photo with the lady eating noodles.

  16. Hirayuki says:

    The bushes could be in a planter–actually, they probably are, and the planters serve as a means to stop parked cars from pulling in that far.

    Regardless, Yoshinoya is probably worth it.

  17. Hirayuki says:

    And yes, the woman is Photoshopped in–though the flood photo is real enough and findable online.

  18. mystic_eye_cda says:

    gtfelix :
    really bad photoshop lol

    If they shopped it they did a great job with the reflection in the water. I’m not aware of home-grade software that can fake a reflection on a non-flat surface.

  19. JimmySmitz says:

    mystic_eye_cda :

    gtfelix :really bad photoshop lol

    If they shopped it they did a great job with the reflection in the water. I’m not aware of home-grade software that can fake a reflection on a non-flat surface.

    You obviously aren’t aware of the superhuman ability photoshop conspiracy theorists are given at birth.

  20. John Q Private says:

    1) It doesn’t look like this girl misses a meal under any circumstance.

    B) Why don’t her clothes (above the water level) show any signs of being in water? I mean water wicks through the fibers and the flooding water isn’t perfectly calm so there should be some splash effect.

    iii) Not part of the ‘shopped’ conspiracists but stand in a body of moving water and see the results for yourself. Something is very odd with this pic.

  21. dono1 says:

    @John Q Private
    Her shirt looks soaked, like a completely wet tee-shirt and you can see the whitish streaks to her left (our right) and behind her, where the water streamed around her body. That moving water would also explain the blurred area where the water meets her body. As mystic eye said, if it’s a Photoshop job it’s a good one. That, or maybe the restaurant is Photoshopped.

  22. Strategia says:

    Well, she does look like she has Down syndrome, so this would probably be perfectly normal behaviour for her.

  23. Kwazzi says:

    @Strategia
    Your wit astounds me sir/madam. I am beyond words.

  24. Jerod Poore says:

    Strategia :
    Well, she does look like she has Down syndrome, so this would probably be perfectly normal behaviour for her.

    Further proof that stupidity and Down syndrome are often mutually exclusive. AKA It’s OK to hate the tards.

    If you want to play “Guess the DSM-IV entry” it’s more likely to be Prader-Willi (which I doubt), or either a form of OCD or that area of the autism spectrum that fall under the headings of “Come Hell or high water I’m getting the fried fish ball ramen I have for lunch every day and no one is going to stop me!”

  25. metalhead3000 says:

    aw cmon. this is ‘shopped so badly you can’t possibly think it’s real.

  26. fox says:

    suprised the shop is open and employees working, if its real

  27. Lolz says:

    Wow love the total bashing of people with disabilities on these comments. All of the disorders mentioned are serious and have profound affects on people and is nothing to take lightly

  28. taitano says:

    The face looks like a bad collage of magazine cut-outs*, the water behind her is painted in and the wake does not look natural.

    That said, when the town I live in would flood, some businesses would stay open if they were above the crest of the flood. In one area, that sat above the crest by only two feet, the Burger King and MacDonalds had sand-baggers wading across a flooded road for free meals. The sporting goods store in the same parking lot donated their entire supply of hand-warmers and similar items via boats. Everyone appreciated the handwarmers and cocoa so much that those boats were sold-out at full price in less than a week after the flood subsided – thus paying for the hand warmers, cocoa, etc several times over.

    *The face looks like a man’s, it’s out of alignment with the head, the hair looks like it was cropped from another picture and the whole thing just doesn’t sit right in the water… Unless she’s wearing some reeeeaaaalllllly heavy clothes or diving wights.

  29. taitano says:

    ‘Scuse me. The WHITE in the water looks painted in.

  30. Lady Pavarti says:

    dono1 :
    Now THAT’S fresh sushi.

    HAHA Comment WIN LOL

  31. Jiminy Frickit says:

    With all the incredibly funny authentic WTF pics out there why go with a photoshopped one? Having said that, this is a funny.

  32. t-rex says:

    @dono1

    Fake. Anyone that goes river fishing will be able to point this out; you’ll notice the flow of water moves from left to right in the photo. but the waves are hitting her from the front. Furthermore, if you look behind her there is a smooth spot in the water that should actually start right with her body because her body would be disturbing the flow of the water around her.

    Totally shopped! Excellently done!

  33. skabbis says:

    Nothing is like swimming down to the parlor grabbin a fresh sushi

  34. Thatgirl says:

    personaly i think if it was a real photo and i was said person i would be holding my saimine bowl above the water….just saying. i have never cried shoped on this forum but the pic lookes wrong.

  35. Olle says:

    failphotoshop.

  36. Mr Evilwrench says:

    Why would the water be THAT DEEP at that distance from the store that just happens to be just above the waterline? When you’re in a flood and that deep, you usually confront currents strong enough to prevent you staying in a location. Why would you go out into the water to eat, when you could stay in the shop? She needs to get out of the water and get naked so we can ridicule her body.

  37. stagedive23 says:

    @enenmon
    That’s called a close up flash.

  38. Daniel says:

    The preoccupations with depth seem to presume the absence of an slope. And the subject might have just sat or squatted for the photo, almost immediately before it were taken, which would explain some of the other ostensible anomalies. None-the-less, there are other anomalies that make me believe that the photo is ‘shopped.

  39. Aaron Hong says:

    Yoshinoya’s got some WTF-worthy ads that cross into Photoshop Disasters here in Singapore. I should probably snap them someday but my cameraphone skills are crap.

  40. tyler says:

    Am i the only one that realizes that this is fake as f**k???

  41. Jojo says:

    @gege
    Aye, I call photoshop.

  42. Maria says:

    This is actually a good photoshopping in my opinion — but lol at the people who think it’s real!

  43. Pones says:

    I love how much it matters that this is photoshopped. all you shopped conspiracists fail and ruin the spirit of this website. I will now photoshop your death and pretend its real. its not about whether or not the picture is shopped its whether or not it looks fucking ridiculous.

  44. genkigarbanzo says:

    First things first Yoshinoya is in Japan………the rainfall there is more than enough to swamp this place. And before you go off about it being ground level it isn’t most newer businesses like this are built raised to account for the annual rain season and any potential floods. second thing is she’s Japanese so i imagine shes walked through a flooded street like this a few times in her life.i know because ive ridden through a few flooded streets.

  45. KateIndeed says:

    @mystic_eye_cda
    You can do that in any Photoshop program, anywhere between PS8 and CS3. You just copy the layer, hit ctrl + t, rotate, overlay, and smudge to add the ripples. Not nearly as difficult as you’d think.

  46. BoneFish says:

    this is after pearl harbor

  47. BonefishBane says:

    LOL ^

  48. Evan says:

    http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/hanamotoke/folder/265248.html

    That took 30 seconds to find. I love all the self-styled PS experts, though, declaring it impossible. It’s not even terribly good.

  49. Anto says:

    It’s photoshop work. Her clothes aren’t wet ¬¬.

  50. Anto says:

    Bad use of photoshop must die

  51. Strabismus says:

    I hope somebody makes a wax figure of her.

    I just do, ok?

  52. taitano says:

    The reason it matters if it’s shopped is that it gives us something to talk about.

    If it’s real, it’s nothing more than a fugly who got hungry and walked to a part of town that wasn’t flooded and is on her/his/its way home with the meal. If it’s shopped, then, well, it’s Shopped and we talk about whether it is or not and how we can tell.

    All the “Shopped!” and “Not!” talk is more a fail of funny than anything else.

  53. Sheep says:

    I´ll neve go out, without my Ramen

  54. BoneFish says:

    @BonefishBane
    im glad you enjoy

  55. nomdebloom says:

    Wow love the total bashing of people with disabilities on these comments. All of the disorders mentioned are serious and have profound affects on people and is nothing to take lightly

    Can the PC Police give it a rest? Like, ever? There’s a difference between making a joke and hating a group of people.

    All humor is based on meanness, whether it’s slapstick comedy, black comedy, comedy of errors, etc. With the exception of puns, it’s all based on laughing at the discomfort, pain, humiliation, or misfortune of others. Don’t get high and mighty because you only laugh at some mean things and not others.

    People have fallen down staircases and died, or had miscarriages, or ended up with severe brain damage. Does that mean nobody is allowed to laugh at a gag where a cartoon character trips and falls down the stairs?

  56. Squid Android says:

    Such a bad photoshop. But really funny. Kudos to whoever made this fake. Hilarious. :D

  57. LordsOf says:

    I sit on acid.

  58. Strabismus says:

    The reflection in front of her is a big mistake.

  59. Bullseye says:

    This should be on Hawtness instead.

  60. Jimbillybob says:

    t-rex :
    @dono1
    Fake. Anyone that goes river fishing will be able to point this out; you’ll notice the flow of water moves from left to right in the photo. but the waves are hitting her from the front.

    If she walks towards the camera, waves in front of her start to form.

  61. t-rex says:

    @Jimbillybob

    Yeah, but those “waves” don’t match the dirty brown color of the water, nor do they reflect the tawdry color of her shirt.

    And the path of the water disturbance looks like someone took the “blue” airbrush and drew two lines that suggest movement, but that movement doesn’t correlate to the disturbed water movement moving from the left to the right.

    Plus, why would she be “rolling” and eating at the same time. XD

  63. Rikku says:

    is that really a woman? o.0@Jan Val

  64. Wondering says:

    Take a leaf out of her book what means real dedication! Or was it just spontaneous hunger?

  65. Jess says:

    Flood or no flood I gots to have mah noodles!

  66. KolectiveKonsciousness says:

    “In times of tradegy, devistation and sadness, ….fat people still seem to be eating without hesitation…”

  67. h says:

    this isn’t shopped, because the sign is still low. Obviously, it wouldn’t be that low if there wasn’t a lot of water. Are you going to have toddlers read IN? I don’t think so. Its about head height, so it makes sense
