And you thot havin crabs was bad!
It’s Spidy’s Bike!
Euurrrgghhh, I’ve seen these photos, these bugs make webbing or whatever it is everywhere. You can sort of see the bugs along the top bar of the bike and on the seat.
EwEwEwEwEwEwEwEWWWWWWWWWW.
Ew.
There’s a 60 year old man back in that park, swinging on a swing, still refusing to come home for dinner after 50 years. That’s gonna be a damn cold plate of broccoli moms is gonna make you eat!
lol
Before ghost rider got his motorcycle, he had to ride this bike.
We used to have such bugs where I grew up. Quite a nasty sight, but I thought they made their webbing on trees only. I feel sorry for the bike though. I’d burn it and let it rest in peace.
What are they? Are the spiders? We (New York) have little mothy things that make similar webs, though not all over the place like that. What ARE those things?
These are from a kind of silk worm. I saw the pictures to of the College Campus that these little guys attacked. It was quite astonishing. I’ve also seen them in the wild while visiting my grandmother on her Idaho property when I was younger. They cover EVERYTHING with there silk.
Its not the Silk clothing Silk worms to.
Rip Van Winkle just left it there for a few minutes while he took a nap! No need to get too excited!
I know that stuff is creepy, but I think this photo is beautiful in a wtf sorta way.
I do too. It has a soft, whispy effect to it, unlike the ugly bagworm nests we get in our pecan trees.
Because the bugs have made their gunk on the tree, too, it looks like the bike is encased in the tree’s bark. I like!
tent caterpillars?
Gypsy moths. We had an infestation when I was a kid. They cut down trees all over the place. The only solution is to burn the nests. It’s a major problem in the forests of northeastern America.
yea.. I know, I hate them so much
If it’s the Pacific Northwest (Oregon esp.) then likely it’s Tent Caterpillars. Huge problem there, you find those orange suckers all over your trees and on the sides of your house.

You sir, are BRILLIANT.
that comment just made my day! rofl
WIN!
Did anyone else read that in a David Attenborough-esque voice?
I remember seeing a story of a British man who was arrested for raping a bicycle in a hotel room. I suppose this is the result…
They were able to prove that the bicycle was an unwilling participant?
Everyone knows bikes are whores, there is NO way it didn’t want it.
Alright Spiderman, enough is enough. I know it’s funny and all, but if you keep going around jacking-off on people’s bicycles, you’re going to lose the public’s respect.
Bikes are ridden by everyone. And they don’t like slowing down….it’s all up to you…
Folks used to tell stories of the phantom bicycle that would show up around 3:30 every Wednesday afternoon looking for its rider. You could hear the faint sad sound of “brring! brring!” before the manifestation …
NEW! Canned Bike Anti-Theft Device
– Just spray all over your bike so no one will want to take it…
Brilliant.
Craigslist listing: One adult bike free to good home. This bike is relatively new, but now home to roughly 400 black widow spiders. Owner unsure how to rid bike of spiders without damaging bike. If you know how, the bike is yours!
spider bike spider bike, does whatever a spider bike does
Hey that’s my Bike! When i left it there wasn’t even a tree to lean it up against, just some acorns on the ground. Crazy. Well i’m off to pour pickle juice down my trousers and howl at the Sun. Take care.
Riding a bike and I Jizzed In My Pants.
Epic!!
That is so unbelievably gross.
The bike could be new… if the cocoon could be enhancing the glaze on the bike. If it’s not cocoon, it could be party foam sprayed on the bike’s entire body to make it look like something of an insect’s weaving. This is all sounds crazy.
That is so disgusting
This is so disgusting!
Wow… this is So disgusting
That’s disgusting. For real.
It is disgusting. You wouldn’t want to touch the bike. This was caused by fuzzy caterpillars (very common in Holland, bike also looks Dutch). I know the dutch word (eikenprocessierups). The fuzz on the caterpillars will cause break outs if you touch them, and you do not want any of the fuzzy stuff to get in your eyes. These lil guys hang out on trees in big groups.
haha you gotta be kidding me…
This is your bike after the Wii
super made my skin crawl
Woopsie daisy I just laminated my bike to this tree!
this is most likely caused by the web worm; they can do stuff like that overnight.
A group of spiders gang-banged my grandmother’s bicycle. Your argument is invalid.
i lol’d.
I can’t help but be reminded of that creepy assed spider movie from the 80s where the spiders took over the whole town. Whoever took that picture better run the feck away!
When it’s gonna to get out of the cocoon, it gonna to be a mopet!
oh man, are those tent caterpillers? that is disgusting.
