I think this is kinda… cute in a “wha..?” kinda way. The birds clearly know her.
Reminds me of a racing pigeon that landed in our back garden many moons ago, He was very friendly, often insisting doing what these birds are doing on the old lady. He’d even sit on the fence and poop in our ratty neighbours garden. For gerbil food, no less!
The local newscasters here got all excited over this brown and white bird which was like nothing they’d ever seen before. “When I first saw the bird I had no idea what it was,” said the homeowner who found the bird perched on his roof Tuesday evening. To the disappointment of the news people, it wasn’t an avian chupacabra. It was simply a breed of fancy show pigeon, a Jacobin which has a ruff of feathers around its neck, and had only traveled couple of streets over from where it lived.
That story sounds hilarious. I’m a birder and a pigeon-enthusiast–I’d love to have seen it.

There’s a guy who panhandles near where I live who is in a wheelchair and half the time he’s absolutely COVERED in pigeons. He’s like one of those people wearing a suit made of bees, only pigeons.
