Fave Comment: This brings new meaning to the game of musical chairs! – Bryn
From the Luis Buñuel movie “Le fantôme de la liberté”
If I had my computer chair like that, I would only have to leave the room to eat and go to work.
What movie is that from?
Bunuel’s “The Phantom of Liberty.” Sometimes when I see giant piles of food, I can’t help thinking it’s all going to be flushed down the toilet of flung into the garbage soon.
always working to make the work place more efficient. no bathroom breaks. coffee maker at your desk. and all face time should be video chat.
“No, I said I wanted a Corporate THINK Tank!”
That IS their think tank – at least it’s where pretty much all their ideas come from.
This picture is actually from a movie by Luis Bunuel
John gets to go to the meeting and do other sorts of corporate shit.
“Phantom of Liberty”
film by Luis Bunuel
watch it… it’s 90 minutes of non-stop WTF!
after this scene a guy excuses himself from the table, goes into a little room to eat dinner in privacy…
That’s from a movie I can’t remember the name. Do you ?
Haha,
I’ve seen this movie. I just can’t remember the name…
What I want to know is, what is this from, its obviously from a movie, V Show, or something like that.
It reminds me of the set of “Bob Newhart,” although I don’t see any familiar characters nor do I recall such an episode.
It’s from the 1974 film by Luis Buñuel, “The Phantom of Liberty.”
Even though it’s obviously a tv show or movie still, is anyone else creeped out that there’s a LITTLE GIRL in this picture?
The fashions and hairstyles look very circa 1960s.
Yeah, but I’m even more creeped out by the fact that there appears to be no toilet paper!
Note that the man in the right middle is taking his pants down. Do we know what that means?
Answer: Clearly the hot woman in the front is not wearing panties under that dress.
Ah a classic movie called The Phantom of Liberty . This is just one scene from a odd movie i recommend seeing this one…..
Added to my Netflix Queue. Gotta see this…
You will probably be very disappointed.
Is from a Luis Buñuel movie, “The Phantom of Liberty” (1974). From Wikipedia:
“The guests are seated around the table on flushing toilets. They politely discuss various issues around the topic of defecation whilst publicly using the toilets that they are sitting on. When a guest is hungry, he excuses himself and retires to a private cubicle to eat food.”
This brings new meaning to the game of musical chairs!
Wow-I don’t want to have those chairs, kind of a restraint of appetite.
Great movie, makes a lot more sense in context obviously.
It all makes sense when they go to the bathroom to eat…
“This meeting shall now come to odor!”
Ah, finally a kitchen chair that is more commodious.
Wow. You people weren’t lying when you said this was from a Bunuel film, were you? It looks more like the work of a Monty Python-esque troupe than an acclaimed surrealist filmmaker.
Its not a surrealist farce without nudity.
no wonder why the food tasted like shit.
You know that’s going to be a long meeting.

Ok, as you all are aware this meeting will continue without breaks until the problem is resolved
And be sure to turn off your cell phones. The boss does NOT like these meetings to be disrupted.
