Ah, The Japanese do it again. Bravo Japan. Bravo.
hmm, so even the crows, so this won’t work…
next attempt, Guro will scare them off
It’s probably more effective than those hawk silhouettes on a wire and inflatable owls.
While Hikaru’s scarecrow efforts successfully kept young children away, he nonetheless found his crops completely trampled by middle-aged businessmen.
LOL. That was good.
haha well said!!
I feel it is almost cheating to use these japanese pictures… I mean, we know Japan is WTF all over. It’s like pitting a heavy weight champion against a kindergarten kid.
The Grudge 3: Don’t Fear The Creeper(s)
O.O
RUN AWAY
I knew there was something wrong with Japanese school girls! Real women don’t love money shots that much!
I guess this is how the fate of those life-sized sex dolls face when their ‘husband’ decides to upgrade to a newer model.
Editing fail.
Poor dolly. That fungal infection wasn’t her fault. Oniishan didn’t clean her so very carefully after the love-making.
This seems less for scaring away crows and more for scaring away Japanese schoolgirls.
These picture where taken by the GRC at a Pig Farm at Vancouver!
The same pig farm that guy was using to dispose of all those dead prostitutes a few years back?
I’m surprise no one’s making any “Pedobear” jokes.
Are we sure these are scarecrows and not bait for catching Pedobear?
There ya go. Fixed it all up for ya there.
There we go.
Or – “After years of work, scientists have developed a very special plant, a cross between a Japanese school girl and a venus flytrap. It’s only prey – the Pedobear.”
After years of scaring aways seed eating birds such as the crow, humans face a threat much worse, with this as there only weapon will humans prevail over the grizzly that likes children too much?
There a joke about a pedobear
the most messed part of it is that other then just the main scarecrow their are heads on poles around it surprised no one commented on that….
Reminds me of the Genesis album cover that my brother had. Nightmares
And here we can see where Japanese nightmares are farmed.
That’s not a scarecrow. That’s a scare-nitch. O.O
Maybe it’s some sort of Japanese version of Farmville?
Wow, the Creeper really looks cute today
Wow, this is totally insane dude. I mean really.
Well, the one that isn’t just a head IS being penetrated by a wooden stick, so one could say that’s perverted.
She also has no arms or legs, so that’s probably just a head as well.
I’m absolutely positive that this picture was taken just east of Abbotsford, B.C. south of Highway 1 on the Sumas Prairie.
P.S. My roomie thinks so, too.
This is like Kurtz’s compound in “Apocalypse Now” on a smaller scale… O_O
Looks like Emo Scarecrow Barbie finnally unleashed her secret powers.
The heads on poles are creepy too, I bet it not only frightens crows but puts people off trespassing on their rice paddy. Do crows eat rice?
I could’ve sworn asian schoolgirls were grown in labs, not on simple farm land such as this. Fancy that. I learn something new about the japanese everytime i come to this site.
I wanna put one at my countryside house! ^_^ (Just to scare the stupid schoolgirls away – the heads would do for the rest!)
Land of the rising serial killers?
that’s really scary monsters from japanese folklore..
google NukeKubi 2 learn..
Thats my mum hahaha lol what do you have to say to that
Crows are really smart. They aren’t going to be frightened by severed heads on stakes — they’re going to flap on down to see if they can take a nibble!
Crows also memorise human faces, and steer clear of people who have hurt them. So for a scarecrow to work properly, you have to convince the crows that it has hurt them. The best was to do this is to stand in the middle of the field dressed as scarecrow, with a burlap scarecrow mask on, and shoot a crow with trusty shotgun.
That’ll keep the crows away. And not just the crows bwah ha ha ha ha ha
Why hasn’t anyone thought of School Days? It’s the first thing that came to my mind!
