this actually makes perfect sense to me… so, um, im gonna go now.
Pigs are a great alternative to dogs. They are just as intelligent, Just as eager to please, and their noses are phenomenal.
Pigs are very clean animals when ALLOWED to be preferring clean straw bedding and only using mud to keep the sun and insects off their skin which most resembles that of humans. Pigs and humans actually share amazing similarities in physiognomy.
Pigs also make great pets.
If you don’t mind that they’re very strong and their favorite pastime is rooting. It’s like having a pet rototiller. You have to chose between having a nice yard and having a pet pig. And if they get their snout under that fence, the fence is going to need repair. You shouldn’t forget they’re omnivores either. If your dog would eat it, your pig probably will, too. Although my brother’s FFA hog ate live snakes which I never seen a dog attempt.
Another similarity between pigs & humans is supposedly the taste; human is referred to as “long pork”.
