i want a rabbit in my toilet!
would be so weird if the frames were the other way around
ROAR! BUNNY DEUCE!
Sometimes I wonder about Japan…
actually that would be china in this case
Yup. I recognize some of the characters. Chinese simplified, whereas Japanese kanji is based on the traditional characters.
Unfortunately I rather sucked at memorizing the writing system so I don’t actually know what it says…
Doesn’t mean we still don’t wonder about Japan.
It just means we have to wonder about China as well, now.
We all do.
What if the rabbit mistakes his peepee for a carrot?
Dude, WTF?
Furfags…
Wish someone could translate this. Maybe it would make more sense?
I think this is actually Chinese.
Actually, that’s in Chinese. And I THINK someone purposely switched the order of those 2 squares to make it more awkward (not that it isn’t awkward if it is switched back around).
The top box says:
“pulled out a rabbit.”
The bottom box says:
“This morning while I was taking a dump,”
Note several things:
#1 Neither are complete sentences. The top box is obviously the end of a sentence. The bottom box obviously the beginning of a sentence.
#2 One may argue they are parts of difference sentences, but why would you talk about what happened in the toilet before you state that you went to the toilet for pooing this morning?
#3 Just like English can say “take a dump” or “passing feces” or “pooing” or whatever, there are several ways to say you’re taking a dump in Chinese. The phrase chosen here is literally “pull poo”, which would match perfectly with the phrase in the 1st box (note the word “pull” in both phrases, ie. the 1st char of the top phrase), suggesting that he actually pooed out a rabbit.
Which is why I say it’s weird either way, but I don’t think the kid decided to sit down over the rabbit. OK, actually, maybe pooing out a rabbit is even worse… hmmm…
you are being too serious about these things.
chinese/japanese do read left to right but right to left, so guessing this is a left hand page read from the bottom up?
No. Top to bottom.
this is in chinese.
NOT japanese
Yay for translators!
Thank you! I was trying to translate it myself, but I couldn’t figure out the last two characters at the bottom.
The character at the bottom is a rabbit. It may have come out of the bottom. But regardless, it’s at the bottom. The other character at the bottom is a whiff of poo. I hope that clears things up for you.
Yep, you’re right, they should be reversed top and bottom. Anyways, the bottom caption reads “zao3shang4 wo3la1pi4shi4″ – in the morning when I was taking a poo (literally, ‘pulling shit’)… and then the top caption with the rabbit reads “la1chu1le yi1zhi1tu4zi” – crapped out a rabbit (literally, ‘pulled out a rabbit’).
Its gotta be some kinda artsy comic translated from Japanese into Chinese, likely for a Taiwanese audience given the traditional characters and Taiwanese feeling phraseology…
Interesting Acies. Thank you.
I don’t suppose the Chinese have any idioms similar to “pulling a rabbit out of a hat” or “pulling something out of your ass”?
For those discriminating individuals for whom a standard bidet just doesn’t do the job, we are proud to introduce our latest personal hygiene appliance:
the Rabbet…
if you eventually find a rabbit in the toilet…make sure you poop on it
A bear was having a crap in the woods when a rabbit happened to go by. The bear said, “hey rabbit, does shit stick to your fur.” “No”, says the rabbit. So the bear grabs the rabbit and wipes his arse.
If the crap doesn’t stick to the rabbit, the bear will just smear it on his own ass.
+503,900 points.
i love you Anna!
Delivery fail.
The proper setup is “Hey Rabbit, do you have a problem with shit sticking to your fur?”
well, it sounded “better” when the fur didnt stick to the shit. oh wait, shit stick to the fur >_<
also funny if examined backwards
Do you mean, finding a rabbit in the toilet and he sticks it up his ass, or the rabbit takes a dump and the kid comes out? If you’re from Japan, there probably is another version, but I don’t think I want to know.
What’s the big deal over a stray pubic hare?
WOOT! a CHINISE stray pubic hare
I lol’d.
bunnies eat their own poo.
they’re actually ruminants, but with only one stomach, so they poo it out and eat it to get the full nutritional value.
maybe he’s waiting for more than a pink carrot.
Right, that’s rabbits. What’s the dog’s excuse for treating the cats’ litterbox as a buffet tray?
Because the cat’s already eaten its own vomit, silly.
Silly rabbit, poops r 4 kidz!
acies gives a very nice translation! actually it’s a japanese manga, and a rather famous one, “ping pong club”(行け!稲中卓球部) by minoru furuya(古谷実). i guess it’s translated by some taiwanese publisher because the words are in traditional chinese (not simplified chinese!)(in simplied chinese it would be 一只兔子 rather than 一隻兔子)
The two pictures are inverted, so the 1st picture should be below the 2nd picture, which means : This morning while i was taking a dump, i shitted ou
i shit out a rabbit.
I’m pretty sure the Chinese says, “This morning while I was pooping, I pooped out a rabbit.”
u read it from the bottom up, not top down…and the guy is saying when i was taking a shit in the morning, i shat a rabbit.
they need to swap the order of those cells – then it’s comic gold!
Quick, Alice! Follow the rabbit down the hole!
Doesn’t the kid look a lot like Beavis?
I thought the same thing!
I was thinking he looked like Bevis and Butthead’s bastard love-child.
Eddie Rabbit sings “I Love a Rainy Night”.
wether this is a read from the bottom page or not, and taking consideration on the translating…. Still: why would a kid would pull a rabbit off his ass? Seriously, WTF with asia?
I’d rather a cartoon about someone pulling a rabbit out of their ass, than a news headline about someone famous shoving a gerbil UP his.
touché
It’s obvious from the cropping of the borders that those two pictures weren’t originally next to each other. However, one must still wonder about a story that involves a rabbit stuck in a toilet.
True dat.
I kinda wanna read it from the bottom up so it looks like he shat out a bunny.
Yes the boxes should be reversed. The bottom box reads (in pinyin) zaoshang wo la suo de shi hou, In the morning when I was going to the bathroom. The top box reads (in pinyin) la chu le yi zhi tuzi, a rabbit came out.
Characters are traditional (notice the writing of zhi) and not simplified, therefore this most likely comes from Taiwan, or any place that still uses traditional (more complicated) Chinese characters.
nth wrong with asia..except ink..
Mum said Bugsy ran away
Bottom panel says: This morning when I was shitting,
Top panel: I shat out a rabbit.
Am I the only one that thinks the kid looks like Butthead?
No, you’re the second person. Should probably skim through previous posting for this kind of information.
Now that we’ve straitened out the translation, what is this kid Eating?!?!?!
Am I the only one here old enough to have heard… “shitting rabbit turds”?
I’ve read this comic! It’s about a boy who poop bunnies, seriously.
Doesn’t anyone notice the creepy old lady looking down at a car in the bottom panel? or is it just me????
It says “one morning I was taking a dump, and I pooped out a rabbit” no joke, that’s what it translates to
Sauce -= http://mukuruchan.com/img/myhealth/part1/allinone.php?yes
Does this kid look like the love child of Beavis & Butthead to anyone else?
DAMMIT
tell me that it’s read from the bottom to the top…for the rabbits sake
(
It looks like Butthead Junior.
