OK, I’m sure this is making some kind of statement… but WTF?
They are obviously impersonating Smolny Cathederal in St. Petersburg, Russia (http://images.google.com/images?q=%D1%81%D0%BC%D0%BE%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B9+%D1%81%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%80). But WTF is their point?
Nuclear Othodox Church it is.
Presumably this is about the proposed insane Swiss law forbidding buildings with minarets. Which by pure coincidence includes mosques. And almost nothing else.
What’s with the gas masks? Buildings can’t have those either?
It ain’t proposed anymore, it’s a constitutional rule since November (Yeah, weird, I know). But these guys are in Russia, making some other or none point, as these ain’t minarets..
On the contrary. That’s just pure democracy on the part of the Swiss.
Dunno about the Swiss, but sometime it’s nice if your laws also happen to protect a powerless minority from an prejudiced majority. Sometimes democracy works too well.
