  2. TheRealWazzar says:

That kit includes everything including the kitchen sink, which comes preloaded with chemicals for processing film!

    And Sepia Lens…heh.

Sigh, I wish I had that many cameras.

PS: They do that so that they don’t have to switch lens or filters.

  3. Bix Nood says:

Probably buy a house with the amount of money it cost for all those cameras/lenses.

  4. Bix Nood says:

    Or really, a decent car.

  5. Greg says:

I can’t imagine how much that must weigh. No way she can take a steady photo. Did she bring the tripod, too?

  6. luis says:

well that is a big load of money you are seing over there ,,,

  7. Canadarm says:

  8. Nick says:

This woman has reached the nirvana of being an Asian – Camera Bliss.

  9. My money says that she is paparazzi… Those bastards would sell their souls just for a million dollar shot of Britney’s hoo hoo…

  10. Luke says:

Now, can anyone here tell me exactly what cameras AND lenses she has there?

    • jcarp618 says:

the camera in her hand is a canon 1d series (cant tell what mark). my best guess since it doesnt have the poor flow of an added grip. no clue about the lens.

the lens hanging all the way to her right side(the white lens) looks like the canon 100-400L

the canon under her left arm looks like a gripped 5d (mk I or mk II) with a 16-35L or a 17-40L (sort of a guess but they are the most logical for that camera in that circumstance)

the camera all the way to her left i have no clue but judging by the texture of the lens body i can tell you its a nikon

      just my guesses though ;)

        The Nikons:
The one in the centre of the image appears to be a D3 with a 24-70mm lens, and on the far right another D3 with the 70-200mm, both good lenses and a good camera.

Meh, I started out with a couple of little nitpicks and ended up disagreeing with almost everything. Apologies in advance.

I’m pretty sure the one she’s holding isn’t a 1D or 1Ds – the prism is too angular, so if it’s a Canon at all, it’s one with a pop-up flash. The lens definitely isn’t a Canon one, and doesn’t look like any third-party style I know of. I don’t recognise the strap either.

The white lens isn’t a Canon either. The shape’s wrong for a 100-400L and the black dot near the front doesn’t match any Canon lens (the biggest telephoto lenses have them, but always surrounded by black rubber). It looks more like a white version of the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8, with the wrong colour lens hood. Yes, it’s the same lens as the one on the far right, just with different paint.

I agree the camera under her left arm is a 5D of some variety, but the lens is a 24-70L. The lens hood is too long for one of the wider zooms.

  11. Jen says:

I’m confused about the need for such a massive flash in what appears to be daylight.

  12. anon10 says:

    well equipped…

  13. 12-42 says:

You know those times when you go to take a group photo, and everyone hands you their cameras so they can have a copy…?

  14. Guy says:

This is actually at a professional photographer’s convention during the group photo. They all said “here, take one with mine!”

  15. mrmatt says:

Hey… I saw this woman at our high school graduation! I think it’s Tim’s mom (she was always a little off, and she DOES have 37 pictures of the moment he received his diploma…)

  16. love it !! says:

She may be a stand up comic :)

  17. Amanda says:

I agree that this isn’t what it looks like, the convention sounds more like it. There aren’t very many photographer that have Nikon and Canon cameras. We usually stick to one brand.

  18. KaidaKitteh says:

The real shock here is that she is using both Canon and Nikon Cameras, thus neutralizing a large rivalry.

  19. Shtupidmofo says:

    here you can borrow mine

  20. Randy Rager says:

It’s a gag shot. One thing photographers make fun of is the twit that thinks if he just gets the right camera, he’ll get all the good shots. Or the guy that brings so many cameras (with separate lenses) to the shoot that he is forever picking up the wrong one and missing the shot, making them do it over and taking 5 times longer than he would have if he’d just brought one good lens and taken a couple of steps forward or back.

That Metz “potato masher” flash she’s holding is the stuff, if you don’t mind the weight. The head will move 90 degrees up as well as rotate, and the shiny spot right below it is a secondary emitter, so you can bounce light off the ceiling and get fill at the same time. It’s also one of the most powerful portable flashes available, so the head will bounce enough light even from VERY high ceilings.

  21. Rat says:

And I thought I was bad, owning three cameras.. two digitals, one 1980′s Minolta with some epic lenses. But I don’t haul around all three, plus lenses together all at once….. ok, I *do* haul around all three, plus lenses, together all at once.

Gotta say, I’d kill for that Metz though.
