That’s actually a holiday thing. The kids wear the oni masks and adults ‘throw’ (hand baggies full) of nuts at them to chase out bad spirits and invite luck.
Cool Tengu masks, although the one in the middle of the group of three has an oni mask. Must be a drum festival some where.
