Thank you! I saw a clip of this when I was a child and no one else I know (and have mentioned it to) had ever come across it. I never found info until now!
One of my favorite movies actually, with a good portion of it done in stop-animation. The above ‘skull animals’ are takes on the ‘friends’ Alice meets through Wonderland. ‘The White Rabbit’ is a taxidermy rabbit done entirely in stop-motion
It’s by Jan Svankmajer and just called ‘Alice’ you can watch it on Netflix.
Oh my gosh! I saw that movie about a year ago and I thought it was so obscure that I would never hear of it again! But no, here it is. By the way, it was so weird that it’s my favorite movie. XD
It’s from a pretty bizarre reproduction of Alice & Wonderland.

It is on Netflix Instant (or was at least). FYI.
That’s from the Czech version of Alice in Wonderland that came out in 1988. Trippy and surreal as can be, but I actually thoroughly enjoyed it!
I can never unsee that…
He-lllllloooooo nightmares.
um, you haven seen the whole movie thats from yet. i havent even, but i saw like 2 hours of it and am perminately scarred. oh my god, its scary
Arf! It’s beautiful and WTF all at the same time. I wish I can be that creative, or surreal?

-bravo!-
One of the best adaptations out there!!! They don’t make movies like it anymore.
Yah, I saw that version of Alice many years ago
It was very very weird and somewhat disturbing, but well worth the watch.
I’d forgotten about it until I saw this still,
and then all the memories came *twitch*
swarming back… *blink*
AAAAAAAAAArrrgghhhh ~ *gurgle*
Neco z Alenky, The whole movie, frame-by-frame belongs here
it reminds me of a “brother’s Quay” film.
It might remind you of their film, “The Cabinet of Jan Svankmajer”.
Is- is… that a… horse.. skull…?
Yes, I think it is.

This is just fuckin disgusting-.-
Probably shouldn’t watch the rest of it, then…
That Alice in Wonderland adaption was freaky.
