18 degrees is actually the starboard bow. Port bow is usually somewhere between a bearing of 359 and 315 or so. Understandable, though, since we’re dealing with a five year old girl in a giraffe head periscope; it’s notoriously difficult to sync the gyro compass on those bastards.
