Considering that MLP has good animation and good voice acting (something that this “show” is severely lacking), I’d say yes. MLP: FiM is actually pretty attractive compared to most of the crap that is being shoved down the throats of everybody nowadays. Why can’t we go back to the good days of cartoons? Dexter’s Laboratory, Dragon Ball Z, the original Pokemon, etc. MLP: FiM harkens back to those days, and basically makes a lot of people just nostalgia

Oh yeah, I remember this show. I used to put it on when my little brother was done watching Candle Cove.
I don’t know if trolling or… This show is actually a one shot animated film realised this year by an awesome animation studio. I know some guys who have worked on it. A big part of the staff grew up with the 80′ animated series, and in a certain way this is a tribute to their childhood. Personally, I think it ROCKS
Well, it’s not really done by an animation studio per se, but rather as a final exam for a small team of animators and TA’s from a very good animation school in Denmark. I know this because I graduated from there little over a year ago, when they were still working on this. And yeah, it’s meant as a joke, and a nostalgic trip back to the 80′s, when many of the current generation grew up watching cheesy animated shows every morning.

It was made as a graduation project by the 3rd years of the animation school in Viborg, Denmark.
I’d highly advise anyone interested in animation films and short, or animation in general, to look up the school’s webpage and check out their graduation films. There’s a lot of good stuff there.
